RoSPA Advanced Driving Test Gold Award
The RoSPA advanced driving test is monitored and approved by the DVSA and a RoSPA Gold is widely regarded as the highest civilian driving standard available.
Institute of Advanced Motorists F1RST Register
The IAM F1RST Register recognises excellence during the IAM advanced driving test. F1RST membership is attained by taking the advanced test and achieving the highest score of “1” in every category.
Cardington Special Test Grade A
The Cardington Special Test is an advanced driving qualification that is only open to ADI’s and provides the ultimate test for driving instructors. The highest level achievable is a Grade A, which is only awarded to a small number of instructors each year.
DIAmond Special Test
The DIAmond Special Test is aimed at drivers and professional driver trainers who want to take their driving to the highest level. The Special Test is considered to be one of the most demanding driving qualifications outside of the emergency services; the DIAmond Special Test proves you’ve got what it takes!
TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS
As a professional and progressive trainer I subscribe to and engage in Continual Professional Development (CPD) to improve and develop my abilities. Since qualifying as a DVSA ADI I have undertaken a significant amount of additional training and development, the key highlights of which are as follows:
DVSA Grade A Approved Driving Instructor
All ADIs are assessed at regular intervals by a DVSA Senior Examiner, to determine the level at which an instructor is performing. I have been assessed as a Grade A instructor, which is the highest attainable level.
ORDIT Approved Driving Instructor Trainer
After additional training, development and experience I achieved qualification onto the DVSA Official Register of Driving Instructor Trainers (ORDT) and as such JUST provide training for the three part ADI qualification examinations of the Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3, as well as Standards Check test preparation. These courses are generally delivered in Peterborough, but we are also currently running training courses for tests in Cambridge, Northampton and Leicester; training in other areas can be provided upon request.
DIAmond Advanced Examiner
DiAmond Advanced Examiners are ADI’s that have undertaken additional training and development to subsequently achieve qualification to deliver the DIAmond Advanced and Special Driving Tests.
Revolutions
I have completed the award-winning ‘Revolutions’ course, designed by Dr. Julia Malkin MBE to teach Approved Driving Instructors how to teach pupils with Aspergers Syndrome, Irlen’s Syndrome, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and mental health difficulties. Revolutions is the only course of its kind in the UK, involving one-to-one special needs training delivered in-car by Dr. Malkin.
